On Sunday, 20 March, 2011 the fourth Bendigo Olive Fiesta will be held at the historic Bendigo Pottery.
Olive growers from many areas of Victoria will be there selling olives and having tastings of their products. Additionally, some of the great wineries from the Bendigo Region will also be present with tastings of their award winning earthy red wines.
Music will feature Mediterranean music, jazz band, Latin and belly dancers together with a bocce competition. A great selection of food stalls will be available with items for purchase and tasting. Additionally, local fresh produce will be available on the day. Additionally, a celebrity cook off will be held, featuring local identities.

Visitors
An estimated 2,000 people will attend the Bendigo Olive Fiesta from all parts of Victoria. Visitors are not only attracted by the variety of olives, food and Mediterranean entertainment but by the ambiance of the historic Bendigo Pottery. Visitors are welcome to browse the Bendigo Pottery and purchase some of their fantastic pieces of pottery.

Great Entertainment from legendary Jazz singer, songwriter and trumpeter Vince Jones and his band (click here to view his site), a Mediterranean band from Melbourne plus belly dancers and Latin dancers. Plus there’s more, including children’s entertainment, cooking demonstrations, bocce competition and Mediterranean food stalls.
While in Bendigo visit the Central Deborah Goldmine, ride one of Bendigo’s tourist trams, visit the Chinese Museum, gain some culture and visit the Bendigo Art Gallery, the great wineries, the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
