WELCOME TO THE BENDIGO OLIVE FIESTA!!A Mediterranean atmosphere comes to the historic Bendigo Pottery again with the fifth annual Bendigo Olive Fiesta. The event will be held on Sunday 18th March, 2012 from 10am to 4pm.
The day will be jam-packed with fun for the whole family. Sample olives, olive oil and other olive products, taste local wines and enjoy a variety of Mediterranean foods.
Join a workshop and find out how to grow, prune, cook and pickle your own olives. Test your skill at the bocce competition or pick up some culinary ideas.
Live entertainment is set to bring the event alive. For the kids there will be a bouncing castle and face painting.
The Bendigo Olive Fiesta is an event that celebrates Victoria’semerging Olive Industry. It also recognises the Bendigo region’s warm, dry summers and cool winters - the basis for ideal growing conditions that mimic the famous Mediterranean climate.
Experience a taste of the Mediterranean by visiting the stunning grounds of the Bendigo Pottery to celebrate the Bendigo Olive Fiesta.
